Standing Up for Equality: President’s Day Protest on February 17th!
The Amarillo Area Transgender Advocacy Group (AATAG) is calling on the community to take a stand for equality! On February 17th, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, activists and allies will gather at the corner of SW 21st Ave and South Western to take a stand against relentless attacks of of this tyrannical regime.
At this protest, our voices will rise in unison to demand justice and equality. This isn’t just about holding up clever signs—it’s about standing up for trans lives, for people of color, for immigrants, and for all those who have been pushed to the margins. Now more than ever, in the face of oppression we refuse to be silent.
Show up. Raise your voice. They will not silence us!
