One thing we kept hearing from the community was, “bring pride back to the park.” And 2024 we were honored to bring the community together at Memorial Park for Pride for the first time since 2019.
Vendors, food trucks, and community members propped up chairs and tents around the park to enjoy the music, the throwback theme, and another fantastic drag show by the House of Mysfits; presented, of course, by the lovely Miss Myka.
In true 80s Spirit, Samien Reid Burnett, the president of AATAG joined the dress-up fun in his best Richard Simmons impersonation. But he was far from the only one to dress for the era, check out a few of our favorites.
As always, the day came and went too quickly, but we couldn’t be happier with how the event turned out. Thank you so much everyone for coming and we can’t wait to see you again next year.
